The west side is calm, if you want to jump waves go to the east
Sometime you can sit on the deck and watch it rain on the other side of the lake and never get wet!
Torch Lake, Torch river is almost in the center of this shot. this would be the direction of the gas docks and party store
Torch Lake. This is the direction you will travel to go to the dockside. A slow cruise and it will take an hour.
The nice thing about the east shore. About 6 o'clock you are in the shade and after a long day in the sun it is welcome!
Torch Lake. This shot is about half way to the sandbar from the house.
Torch Lake. Northern Michigan sunsets can be some of the best you'll ever see!
Torch Lake. Even though it's hot during the day be sure to take a sweater when looking at the sunsets.
